Marcket Studios is a Chicago-based small, up-and-coming, digital production company with a focus on producing fiction/documentary short and feature length films and music production.

Founded by Marco Bacchetta in Geneva, Switzerland in 2019, Marcket Studios began by producing music and music videos for multilingual artists across genres and has grown to include a multitude of services.

Our team specializes in each stage of film and music production, from script and concept development, pre-production and planning, to on-set production and post-production. We offer services in budgeting and scheduling, cinematography, production design and art direction, and location sound recording. In post-production, we offer picture editing, sound design, engineering, mixing, and mastering, and coloring.

Marco Bacchetta

Marco Bacchetta is an Italian-American filmmaker and music producer with a BFA in set design from the University of the Arts London. Marco’s interest in film and music was born from making and mixing music videos for local artists in his hometown in France. This eventually led him to pursue an MFA in Cinema and Television Directing at Columbia College Chicago, where he worked on several short films in various roles as writer/director, cinematographer and sound designer. Born in America but having lived in France and Italy most of his life, Marco gained a mixed gamut of cultural experiences that taught him the values of adapting and resilience, prompting him to naturally gravitate towards themes of growth, psychology and self-discovery that inform much of his work, as seen in his recent film A Suit That Doesn’t Fit.

eesha patkar

Eesha Patkar is a writer, filmmaker and producer with an MFA in Cinema and Television Directing from Columbia College Chicago (’24). A native of Mumbai, she previously worked as a journalist, arts writer, and video producer. Drawing from her Indian roots — and often as a subversive commentary on it — Eesha is drawn to telling stories that explore female subjectivities within the complex social dynamics of South Asian culture. Her latest film Six Weeks was an official selection at the 2024 Tacoma Film Festival and is part of the Albert P. Weisman exhibition in Chicago.
